You know how to write a song ...
Often, though, it’s the arrangement that lifts your songs to the next level – taking them from being nice melodies and good lyrics over pedestrian chording and rhythms, to more sophisticated arrangements that grab the listener with rhythmic interest.
You can work with a producer in the studio to create a terrific arrangement for your CD – but what happens when you play the song live? Working with Greg, you can take your playing to the next level so you can fully express your songs. The emphasis is on making what you've created better – not changing your style, or putting a cookie cutter stamp on your creations. You’ll work on right hand rhythms as well experiment with alternate chord voicings – and even open tunings and partial capo techniques if you’d like. Throughout his 40+ year career Greg has played rock, country, folk, blues, R&B – and sung a capella and musical theater. He’s a gifted guitarist, songwriter and vocal arranger who plays by ear. His goal through song coaching is to help you express yourself fully through your songs. |
“Greg worked with me to conceptualize my songs on solo acoustic guitar in a way I would not have been able to do myself.” ![]()
